Step 1

Receive Vehicle Loan Approval - Download FastPass app.

Hit Apply button for your auto loan approval from Los Angeles Federal Credit Union.   Once auto loan is approved, download FastPass mobile app to carry your auto loan in your phone.   Open your Auto Loan Approval Certificate within the FastPass app, dealers need this information for payment.

Step 2

Select Your Vehicle

Do you have your mind (or heart) set on a specific car? Many shoppers do. But in today's ever-changing marketplace, new cars are always hitting the showrooms, and one that you've never even considered could be right for you. Spend time researching and comparing similar cars to find the one that truly fits you best.  If you already have a car in mind, you should still review other comparable vehicles in the same class to make sure you haven't overlooked an even better choice.  After you are confident in your selection(s) its time to talk with a FastPass Agent.

Step 3

Get Matched with an Agent

Once you download FastPass mobile app, a FastPass Professional Buyers Agent will be assigned to assist you at any point throughout your purchase journey.  It is important to prepare for purchase before you set foot on a dealership, before a test drive fully prepared to purchase the vehicle.  FastPass will help you prepare to save the maximum about of dollars and equally as important, to save your valuable time.  If you follow your FastPass Agents instructions, most shoppers from test drive to driving home is about 90 minutes. 

Step 4

Plan Your Trade-In

Another part of being prepared before purchase is managing your trade in prior to visiting a dealership.  Its best to liquidate your trade prior to a dealer visit to take that out of your car purchase equation or at a minimum, know what the market value is for your trade to push back if the numbers are way off.   

Step 5

Test Drive

So you’ve done your online research and located inventory you are interested in test driving. Now you are ready to experience the vehicle first-hand, you contact your FastPass Agent to call the dealership.   Your Agent will negotiate the deal prior to set up a test drive for you.  Once complete, you be greeted by a designated dealership host to provide you  full access to the vehicle for inspection and test driving.  If you plan to test drive a few different vehicles, let your Dealer Host know that you are still gathering information to make your final decision.

Step 6

FastPass - Dealer Payment.

Once you have decided to purchase a vehicle, click inside your FastPass mobile app to connect to your FastPass agent, 7 days a week, until 8pm  for instructions on specifically how to use your LAFCU vehicle loan at the dealership.   (reference video above).
